The sign-in page keeps coming back. What do I do?

Sign in at www.creatorscompanion.app in the same browser first, then click Connect again in your AI app. If a pop-up was blocked, allow pop-ups for the AI app and try again. Private windows and strict cookie settings can drop the sign-in between steps.

It connected the wrong CreatorsCompanion account.

Disconnect the app in Connected apps, then connect again. When CreatorsCompanion first asks which account to connect, click Use a different account and sign in with the account you want.

My AI app shows a 401 or unauthorized error.

The connection was disconnected or its sign-in expired. Reconnect from your AI app: in Claude open the connector and click Connect, in Claude Code type /mcp, in Codex run codex mcp login creatorscompanion, in Gemini CLI run /mcp auth creatorscompanion.

I cannot find the menus described for ChatGPT.

ChatGPT sometimes renames its menus. Look for Plugins, Apps or Connectors in the sidebar or settings, and add a custom MCP server with the same server URL and OAuth.

Can I set up my profile and voice from the chat?

Yes. Ask your AI app to set you up: it saves your niche, bio, audience and language, the posts you paste as voice examples, and documents about your offers and story for your Creator Brain. Saving these uses no credits. Importing posts from your social accounts and building the Creator Brain show their credit cost first.

A tool says I do not have enough credits.

The message says how many credits the action needs and how many you have. Nothing is charged when an action is refused. Credits are bought on the CreatorsCompanion website, and a connected app can never buy them for you.

CreatorsCompanion is an MCP server: a connection that lets an AI app use your CreatorsCompanion account. Ask it to write scripts and posts in your saved voice, find viral posts, track competitors, pull transcripts and manage your library. It uses the same credits as the website, and every paid action shows its cost.

Open Plugins in the left sidebar, then click Add (top right) and choose Add custom MCP server.

Click Connect CreatorsCompanion, sign in and approve.

Data handling

Your AI app sends only what a tool needs to run, such as your idea, a link, the formats you chose or a library item id; CreatorsCompanion never receives your chat history. Public social data and links are fetched through ScrapeCreators and Apify. Drafts and post analysis are produced by AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google. Each tool call is logged with its name, the app's client id, the result status, credit cost and duration, kept up to 12 months. Privacy policy: Connected AI apps.

Open Connected apps from the account menu and click Disconnect next to the app. Access ends right away.
